I’m a a systems builder and brand designer based in San Francisco, and for the past four years I’ve been doing both at the same time — which turns out to be a pretty useful combination.

The creative work is mostly at High-Proof Bar Group, where I run all the design for Last Rites and Horsefeather. Two very different bars, two very different visual identities, and a lot of formats to keep them straight: cocktail menus, event marketing, merchandise, photography, environmental design. Last Rites gets pulp adventure and vintage horror. Horsefeather gets warm and refined. Both get a lot of InDesign files. I also shoot all the photography for both locations, and I’ve been known to design a cocktail menu as a library of vintage pulp novels when the brief calls for it. The brief didn’t actually call for that one, but here we are.

On the technical side, I build operational systems and platforms. Automation pipelines, internal tooling, a full-stack draft management platform for a local sports league that’s been running in production for three seasons. I use Cursor and Claude Code daily and I genuinely enjoy that part of the work.
